Our team
At Bien-être counselling, our team of compassionate therapists specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and relationship challenges. We offer both individual and couples therapy, providing a supportive environment for emotional healing and growth. Our therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based modalities.

Individual therapy is a personalized, one-on-one process where you work with a trained therapist to explore your emotions, challenges, and goals. It provides a safe and supportive space to help you better understand yourself, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change in your life.
We use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and more. These techniques are tailored to meet your unique needs and help you manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges.
The frequency and number of sessions depend on your needs and goals. Most clients attend weekly or bi-weekly sessions and typically see progress within 8-20 sessions. However, therapy is flexible and can be adjusted as needed.
Your first session is an opportunity to meet your therapist, discuss your goals, and begin exploring your challenges. It’s a collaborative process designed to ensure therapy is tailored to your unique situation.
Sessions are scheduled for 60, 90, or 120 minutes, with most lasting 60 minutes (50 minutes of active time). Fees range from $90 for intern therapists to $250 for seasoned therapists, with most sessions priced at $175. Sliding scale options are available through our intern therapists.
Most insurance plans cover our services. We recommend confirming with your provider for details. However, we are not covered under Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
Yes, we offer all three options. Virtual sessions are conducted via secure video platforms and are just as effective as in-person sessions. In-person sessions follow strict COVID-19 safety protocols.
Yes, everything you share is confidential. We follow strict privacy guidelines and use secure platforms for virtual sessions to ensure your safety and confidentiality. 9. How can therapy help me, and what results can I expect?
